This is a striking vintage bridle rosette converted to a lovely brooch set in solid brass.  The image is of a calvary rider or fox hunter dressed in a deep blue coat carrying a whip galloping on his chestnut horse in pursuit. The bright red background makes the brooch pop.  It is in outstanding condition with a tight C-clasp with the glass dome in excellent condition and measures 1 3/4" across.
