If you're after a big, robust pack for long treks, this is the one. A classic for those in the know, these Berghaus Cyclops II's come from the Belgian Army. On the odd pack, the cheeky Belgians have added their own straps here and there - evident by the jigsaw camo.
These packs come in different sizes, reflecting the height/back length of the wearer. Currently we have:
Size 2: 38-43 cm back length / 160 - 173cm (5'3" - 5'8") Height
Size 3: 43-48 cm back length / 173 - 180cm (5'8" - 5'11") Height
Two zip on 10L Multi Mission Side Pockets (MMPS) can modify the carrying capacity from 80L to 100L. When removed, these MMPS can be zipped together but they do not come with the shoulder straps to make a separate mini day bag. Some packs have PALS webbing for MOLLE attachment, under the outer haul handle, where more pouches may be added - but on some packs this webbing is not present, like the first picture.
